Indian farmers are praying for better monsoon this year. Especially in Maharashtra farmers have faced drought in consecutive two years. But this year Indian Meteorological Department has predicted above-average Monsoon this year. This has given a hope to farmers. Even central government is very happy with this.
Speaking about this in Loksabha government has said that along with Indian Meteorological Department and some private agencies also done the positive prediction about this years monsoon. Last year many states have faced drought. This has affected Indian agriculture industry very badly.
While talking in loksabha Science And Technology Minister Shri. Harshvardhan bring in notice that Indian Meteorological Department and some private organizations too have predicted that this years monsoon will be above average. Important fact is non of agencies have predicted about pre monsoon rain.
As per information there will be 106% raining during monsoon which is above average. This ratio can decrease or increase by 5%. Monsoon is likely to visit South Kerala shore in last week of May.
Next update about monsoon will be release on 15 th May 2016. Central Science And Technology Minister Shri. Harshvardhan said that from 2005 operational forecasting has started. In 10 years that is from 2005-2014 fore cast about monsoons arrival in Kerala has never went wrong.
